For the two weeks I was working on this, it opened with a poetic dream text crawl. I cut it from the game right before the jam, thinking a shorter, more to-the-point opening would help grab players. While that might be true, I prefer the writing and tone-snap of the opening dream after playing the upload a few times. 

I already have an amnesiac protagonist. Might as well start the story by waking up from a dream.
